It is skills development season, and the pressure is on to get everything submitted on time, but don't worry—we've got this! From logging details accurately to keeping clients in the loop not to mention staying hydrated, it's all hands-on deck for SDFs everywhere!
Unfortunately, compliance is in the details. Always make sure to verify your information thoroughly, and don't be afraid to double-check it. It is not worth it to miss compliance based on a technicality or wrong ID number, not to mention the backlash from your clients.
The best way forward is to stay calm and carry on, we have less than 3 weeks to go.
But what happens if the SDF portal goes offline during submission?
Don't panic! Here's a quick guide:
Step 1: Check your internet connection. It may sound silly, but checking your internet connection could solve the issue you're having.
Step 2: Look around online to see if others are facing the same issue. You're not alone! Use your network.
Step 3: Contact the relevant SETA and report the problem. You can usually find their contact details on their website. You never know if you're the first or hundredth person to log the complaint. So be proactive.
Step 4: While waiting for the portal to return online, get all your documents and information ready. When it's back up, you'll be able to submit everything swiftly and get back on course in no time.
With a skilled SDF at the helm, your organisation can navigate through any stormy seas that come its way.
